The thing I look forward the most about the Sunday paper is the COUPONS! I clipped a LOT of coupons out of the paper today. Since I work on Sundays, I buy a paper on my way here and then clip all the coupons. Then, I go through them and pick out the ones that I will use and the rest go on a pile for others at work to take. Just because I won't use them, doesn't mean someone else won't!
Also, Ken's has triple coupon day (up to 50¢ coupon) on Sundays. Usually I don't get to the store on Sundays because I have to work, but I may just get there after work today! I do have coupons for some items I need and it would be great to have those coupons tripled!
I NEED to get better with using coupons. What do you do to organize them so you remember to use them??
ReplyDeleteI have a little pouch to put them in (was just a cheap pencil case that I got at WalMart). When I make my list for the store, I go through my coupons and paper clip the ones I am going to use to the list so I don't forget to use them. It also works well to look at the coupons you have when you go through the Sunday ads to see what is on sale and then use the coupons on top of the sale price!
ReplyDeleteOh, also I keep the "coupon pouch" in my purse all of the time (since it's flat, it takes less room than a checkbook). That way if I'm in the store and come across something on clearance or on sale and I have a coupon, I don't have to worry about forgetting the coupon at home! I once found a Venus razor in the clearance aisle at WalMart for $4.00 and I had a $4.00 off coupon! That's probably the best deal I've ever gotten! Good luck!
